My Approach

The Archaeology of Well-Being™

At the heart of my work is a simple belief. When the body feels supported and safe, clarity returns emotionally, cognitively, and creatively.

I call my method the Archaeology of Well-Being™. It looks beneath surface symptoms and habits to understand the deeper patterns shaping how we live, think, and feel. Drawing from culinary archaeology, nutritional science, neuroscience, and lived experience, this work reconnects modern lives with practices that have supported human well-being for thousands of years.

Across cultures, food and ritual were never separate from health. Meals were prepared and shared with intention. Days were structured to support effort and recovery. Rest, reflection, and meaning were woven into everyday life. These ancient foodways and practices were both sacred and practical systems for sustaining energy, clarity, and connection.

For individuals, this work often begins with a sense that something is off. Low energy, brain fog, anxiety, digestive or hormonal shifts, or a loss of ease in one’s body or life. Rather than overriding these signals, we learn to listen to them: they are messages asking for attention.

Together, we explore what has accumulated over time physically, emotionally, and environmentally, and gently restore supportive structures through food and simple practices informed by ancient wisdom and refined through modern science. As the nervous system settles, daily practices become more intuitive and more sustainable.

This same lens applies to groups and organizations. Just as the body communicates through symptoms, teams communicate through burnout, fragmentation, or loss of focus. By reintroducing shared practices and supportive environments that nourish focus and recovery, individuals think more clearly, collaborate more effectively, and perform with greater sustainability.

At its core, this work invites you to become the archaeologist of your own well-being. To cultivate curiosity about your health story and reconnect with the wellspring of vitality, clarity, and wholeness that is already within reach.
